The website of the Kansas City Feis has been updated, and there you can find out all you need to know about this great, fun event. Registration for competitors opens on July 5th, but remember you don't have to be a curly-wigged dancer with a number on your fancy embroidered dress to enjoy this showcase...although personally, I always enjoy it more when I'm decked out like that. All you have to do is buy a ticket and come watch. Do keep in mind that this is a seperately run and ticketed event: your Irish Fest ticket will not get you into the Feis. Feis tickets will be available at the door.The second annual Kansas City Feis will take place on Saturday, September 2nd in the Westin Crown Center. It's sponsored and presented by the O'Riada Academy of Irish Dance. Check it out.
