Musicians and singers, here's your chance to perform at Irish Fest...sort of. This year, some of our fantastic Irish Fest performers will be doing double duty after their sets on stage. After the Irish Fest gates close for the night, some of the best traditional Irish players around will be heading for Spectators Bar and Grille in the Hyatt Regency Crown Center. There they'll host what we're calling Fest Club, a traditional Irish Seisun. If you toodle a flute, croon a tune, strum a guitar or bang a bodhran, you're welcome. If you pluck a banjo, squeeze an accordion or be illin' on the Uilleann, come along. Or if you just haven't had enough great Irish music and craic by the time 11:00 rolls around, you're welcome to come listen. After all, is it really music if there's no one there to hear it?
Ponder that. And make plans to join Fest Club, traditional Irish music session. Every night after Irish Fest, September 1,2 & 3. 10:30 PM-1:00 AM. Bar open until 2:00. Spectators in the Hyatt.

Awesome! This is a great addition!
Did you really just say "illin' on the Uillean"?
Aaron Svoboda
I was kinda proud of that little pun, Aaron!
What about us singers??? :)
Of course singers are welcome...especially singers as talented as you, Kelly.
What about "vocalists"?
The posting has been duly amended. No offense to singers was intended. Management regrets the omission. Now, we better have some singers show up!
Brilliant idea!
Love Ya Dan!!! We'll be there with bells on!
Just had to stir it up, didn't ya Brettski?
Coming from an accordion player! Right back at you Gibson;)
Great idea, Dan!
Fair play... but where do we move to at 2:00 AM when it closes? We might just be getting warmed up at that point (ROFL).
Hup
As the entertainment guy for KCIF, all seisun musicians can go to Dan's room, especially the pipers, after the bar closes.
Hell, they might as well. I don't think I'll be there!
