The Raffle

Number 3 in our "Where Should I Volunteer?" series takes us to the exciting world of the Kansas City Irish Fest Raffle.

What you'll do: Sell tickets, make dreams come true. Though we offer advance raffle ticket sales, the vast majority of purchases take place right on Crown Center Square during Irish Fest. As one of the few, the proud, the Raffle Volunteers, you'll wander the colorful festival grounds, hither and yon, selling tickets to people eager to win our great prizes, including of course round trip tickets for two to Ireland. You're Santa Claus, you're (appropriately for today) the Easter Bunny, you're a leprechaun with a pot of gold. You're granting wishes, $5 each or 5 for $25.

Who you are: You're no wallflower, that's for sure. You're a performer. You have a flair for the dramatic. You like people and they like you right back. You have the charisma and charm that draw people to you as you stroll the fest, resplendent in your canvas apron, pen and tickets in hand, calling out "Raffle Tickets, Raffle Tickets, Alive, Alive-O!".
