I can report after a lunch time stroll across to Crown Center (I had to buy a tie for the Irish Museum and Cultural Center Gala on Friday) that sprinkler systems are being installed today in what will be the grassy sections, down on the fountain level. Granite benches have been installed around the new big fountain, which will, as I understand it, spray in programmed patterns like the fountain in front of Union Station. Work also continues on the installation of the Terrace Stage. The work is continuing at a furious pace so as to be finished by May 5th, just in time for our sister festival, Fiesta in The Heartland.
Oh, and the London Plane trees have little baby leaves on them, too.

What color is your tie?
It's a leather bolo tie with a giant shamrock made out of turquoise and silver that the leather goes through. It kinda matches my green cowboy hat. Style is my middle name.
