Fruity Soaps & Pig Farming

As you know, at the festival there is a very special opportunity to watch the immensely popular movie Waking Ned (Devine), hosted by Irish comedian Brendan Dempsey - who has a role himself in the comedy. Tickets are for the benefit of Kansas City's Irish Museum and Cultural Center (IMCC), and cost $10. They may be purchased at the IMCC's Festival booth.

However - and this is the news - I believe that there is also a second showing of this movie, but without Brendan's hosting, for just $5. It's at 6pm-ish, and also at the Crown Center Cinema. But you might want to check this. In fact, I should probably check it for you.

Handy Irish Phrase: Bhí an scannán chomh brónach sinn gur tháining na deora leis (The film was so sad, it made me cry)
