The profile of the Cottars has been added to the festival website. Playing this weekend at the Stan Rogers Folk Festival in Nova Scotia, the Cottars have a busy summer which includes supporting Ireland’s premier musical ambassadors, The Chieftains, on Prince Edward Island.
The Cottars' latest CD, "On Fire!" is still getting great reviews following the earlier "Made in Cape Breton". You can listen to segments of both on their website. Listening to the powerful vocals and wonderful instrumentation that are such a part of the rich Cape Breton musical tradition, you won't know nor care what age anybody is.
