No, Not The White Stripes. Just THE Strypes.

Get ready to put your socks back on because the ones you're wearing are about to be rocked right off your feet. Let me introduce to you, ladies and gentlemen, young up-and-coming Irish rockers, the Strypes. These lads (and I mean 'lads' quite literally as they are mere teens) hail from Cavan, Ireland and they just recently made their first appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Here they are rocking out with a tight electrically-charged performance that is so scorching your face just might melt.

It was only their second time on American television and despite their tender ages, they have the sound and presence of seasoned pros twice their age. They are of course reminiscent of British Invasion-era bands, like the Beatles and the Stones, along with English pub rockers of the seventies, like Dr. Feelgood. No, there isn't even a hint of Irish folk in there and their sound isn't new or groundbreaking, but they do it so damn well and manage to make it sound fresh. Its just good old Rock And Roll, man! Maybe if we ask nicely our head honcho entertainment dude, Shocko, will book them for the Irish Fest...

Alright, now put some socks back on for Pete's sake! Your feet smell.

Good call on the Strypes. They'll do well and I say "Book 'em Shocko"!
