The last of the three incoming members of the Kansas City Irish Fest board of directors beginning a five year mission to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new civilizations, to boldly go where...wait, sorry. Wrong five year mission. Anyway the third and final new board member is...me. Ta dah!
I, of course, have been on the board before, from the first day of the Fest until 2009, 2010 something like that. See when us old Irish Fest founder guys wrote the bylaws and instituted the five year board of directors term we cleverly added this line that said after being off the board for two years you could throw your hat back into the ring and if the current board voted you in then you could come back for another term. So that's what happened.
About me:
A bunch of my backyard fence blew down a couple weeks ago. Just blew over, just like that.
I finally got that mole on my back checked out, the one that Mrs. Bloggy was so worried about. Turns out it was nothing, like I told her.
I've been writing this damn blog for almost 8 years.
