The Heat Is On

We're at T-minus one day kids, so let's all talk about the big, sweaty elephant in the room: it's hot. Irish Fest temps look to hover in the very UnIrish mid to high 90's all weekend, at least until the merciful sunset. Let's work together to make sure your weekend is a safe one, shall we?

Rule one: stay hydrated. We'll have lots of cold water available and there are drinking fountains on the square and inside Crown Center.

Rule two: take a break. Catch some of the great music indoors at the Magners Cider Atrium Stage in cool, air conditioned Crown Center. Get your hand stamped on your way out the front gate and come and go as you like. When you're outside get out of the sun every once in awhile. We have ample shade in the park and all through the site.

Rule three: Ask for help if you need it. We have trained medical personnel on site at all times. If you feel like you're overheated and need attention, ask any staff member in the bright red shirts, a member of our public safety crew or stop at one of our first aid stations. Their locations will be marked on the map of the grounds in your program.

Really though with all you cool people in one place I bet the temps will drop down here by 15 degrees.
