Happy Mardi Gras, mes chers amis! We love Irish music of course, but let's take a little break from the green just for today and head south for another great ethnic sound.
I'm sure that some ethnomusicologist could find a common ancestor of traditional Irish music and zydeco sawing away on a fiddle back in Brittany somewhere a few centuries ago. But to hell with that. Let's dance.
