Twice now on our Irish Fest Comedy Stage we've been lucky enough to host one of the funniest people in the world, Ardal O'Hanlon. I say this as an Award Winning Humorist® myself. This man is seriously funny. I also say this as a man who didn't see any of Ardal's shows at Irish Fest, either year. Hey, I'm busy Irish Fest weekend, man!
So I am so excited that Ardal is coming back to town on a non-Irish Fest weekend. Friday, March 1st to be exact. The show-one night only- is part of The Kings of Irish Comedy tour and is a benefit for the Kansas City Irish Center. You can go for a mere $20. But don't do that. Kick in an extra sawbuck for a VIP ticket instead. Why? Because in addition to admission to the show, with the VIP ticket you get to go to a pre-show reception in the Center featuring samples of Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, and a post-show meet-and-greet with Ardal. Is that worth an extra ten bucks? Does the queen poop in a palace? Hell yes.
Don't wait. Local comedian Brad Meehan opens the show at 8:00PM. Seating is limited. Buy your ticket now. See you there. And to get you in the mood, here's a little Ardal, his stand up and as Father Dougal in the late, great Father Ted program.
