Saturday was not only the last day of the year, it was also the last day of the term on the Irish Fest board of directors for Erin Kiekbusch, better known to those of us inside the festival as Sunshine. If you've ever been lucky enough to have Erin turn her 1000 watt smile your way, you'll know how appropriate the nickname is.

After many years as committee chair and head of the St. Patrick's Day Parade committee, Erin brought that smile and the energy, passion and dedication that were behind it to our board 5 years ago and Irish Fest is a much better event for having had her. She promises not to go far and stay an active part of the Irish Fest family for we we're all grateful.
