I used to run a whole bunch before baby Kate came along and cleaning poopy bottoms became my regular exercise. Way to go, baby. I'm just recently getting back to running so I'm excited that the Weston Wellies Walk is coming up.
Heard about this? Here's what you do. Get you some wellies. Put 'em on you feets. Go for a mile and a half walk/jog/stroll, whatever you can manage, through beautiful Weston, Missouri over that town's Irish Festival weekend. Prizes for best wellies, best individual and team costumes, and for fisrt and second place finishers. AND just for entering and finishing you're registered to win a $1000 travel voucher. The race is sponsored by the Irish Center, The Celtic Ranch, The Weston Irish Festival and O'Malley's 1842 Irish Pub in Weston. All proceeds benefit the Kansas City Irish Center.
