You may already be the GRAND PRIZE WINNER!!!!

Ever look at that phrase and say,  “Yeah… there is a better chance of finding water on Mars”? 
I thought the same thing… that is, until I actually won once. Back in college at CMSU (or UCM depending on how old you are), the powers that be wanted the entire student body to get new ID cards. To entice everyone to do this, they ran a contest. The majority of people, including myself, didn’t know the contest even existed as we were hungry and needed the ID card to enter the cafeteria. At a football game one night, they drew my name out as the GRAND PRIZE WINNER, receiving: (insert long gratuitous drum roll) a free semester of college. Being a senior and getting ready to graduate, I took that free semester and went to Holland to study abroad (aka: travel) instead. 
Now, this all gets me to the point: If I can win a grand prize, so can you. But there is a little more effort in this contest than just showing up at the cafeteria.
