Happiness

People often ask me: "Uncle Bloggy, what does happiness look like?" Like 10 times a day I get asked that. I wish people would shut the hell up. Maybe this will help. Here is what happiness looks like:

That is the face not only of happiness but of Shawn McMahon. Shawn won the grand prize in our raffle at Irish Fest last year and this is the exact moment he found out. Shawn bought 5 raffle tickets for $20. Now I'm not great at arithmatics, but with the grand prize being 2 tickets to Ireland I'm pretty sure that means Shawn's airfare cost him ten bucks a piece.

What does 2011 Irish Fest happiness look like? Look in the mirror, hoss and start practicing your win-face. Because you might be the lucky one this year. Somebody's going to win. Ticket prices are still the same as they've always been, $5 for one or $20 for 5. The three prizes are as great as they always been: Round trip airfare for two, a Boulevard Brewery tasting Party for you and your friends, or two weekend Snug passes for next year's Irish Fest.

Tickets will be available all weekend long and the drawing will be held Sunday evening. You don't have to be present to win, but it would be cool if you are so I could put your picture up here next year for when people start asking me dumb questions again. Because they will. Oh yes, they will...
