When I walk around Irish Fest this year with my fancy staff shirt and my fancy founders badge and my fancy Irish Fest President baseball cap, people will look at me and think: "Wow. What a loser." And they'll be right. Because one thing I won't be wearing is a green and gold winner's ribbon from one of our great Irish Fest contests. I can't enter, so I can't be a winner. But you can be.
This year contests are offered in everything a talented thing like you needs to win and win big. Stout brewing (deadline is August 20, so get to it). Irish soda bread baking (amateur and pro contests). Knitting (novice and expert divisions). Photography (theme: Irish Celebrations). And Irish Fest Cow art contest (your vision of our shamrock-bespeckled mascot cow. Special guest judge: Uncle Bloggy!).
Whether you choose to enter one or all, you can win great prizes, have great fun and spend some time with Cami and Kim, The Comely Contest Queens, which in itself is an activity so fun we should charge you for it. But that, like entry in all our contests is free.
