Tonight I attended, along with Kansas City Irish Fest president Barney Walsh, Irish Fest First Lady the lovely Sarah Walsh and Irish Fest co-founder and past president Ed Follis, the AOH and St. Pat's parade committee Elders concert at my alma mater, Redemptorist School. Prior to the musical portion of the show, the following dignitaries were announced:
Mike Murphy Honorary Irishman Award winner: Jackson County Legislator Dan Tarwater
Cullinan Family Spirit Award winner: The Wyrsch Family
2011 parade Grand Marshal: Micheal Mahoney
