Here's a joke I just made up. What do you call it when you want to tell people who's playing at this year's Kansas City Irish Fest but you can't? A banned announcement! Get it? Ha! Good one, Bloggy.

Anyway here's the deal. We got bands. I want to tell you who they are. But you have to wait. Not long. Just until St. Patrick's Day. That day we'll be announcing the entire line up on stage at Raglan Road after the parade. "But Uncle Bloggy" you cry. "I live in Elsewhere and/or I have to work that day! I can't possibly be there to find out if my favorite band is playing this year! I hate you! I HATE YOU!!!"

Okay, first of all, calm down. Irish Fest is still 190 days away so don't get your panties in a bundle. Second of all, this wasn't my idea so stop screaming at me. And third of all, I got you covered. See, by then our new 2011 edition website will be up and running all shiny and new and you'll be able to see the line up there shortly after the public announcement at Raglan. And of course, we'll be previewing and prehearing and introducing bands here at Tir na Blog, too.

So we'll call it a banned announcement for now, shall we? Okay.
