Local Boy Makes Good

When we launched the good ship Irish Fest back in 2003, our captain and first president was Bob Sullivan. Bob, in his real life, is Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at the Boulevard Brewing Company here in Kansas City, the people who make sure you don't get thirsty at Irish Fest evey Labor Day weekend. Though he left Irish Fest as a board member sometime ago, he remains a very active part of our family both as a major sponsor and a member of our advisory board. So we at Irish Fest know Sully is a great guy who does more to support Irish events in Kansas City than just about anybody. We know it, and now it's official.

On March 5th the Irish Center of Kansas City will honor Bob at their annual gala with the John J. Sullivan, Jr. Foundation Humanitarian of the Year Award. All of us who've had the honor of working with Bob over the years extend our sincere congratulations on a well deserved honor.
