The Irish Music Awards, at which I was honored to be a presenter last year, are now awaiting your vote. A few 2010 KC Irish Fest performers are represented and would appreciate your vote. Qristina & Quinn Bachand are nominated in two categories, Best New Irish Music Artist and Top Traditional Group In A Festival, Pub or Concert. In the Best New Artist race they find themselves up against fellow Kansas City Irish Festers Girsa. Good luck with that choice. Both amazing talents.
2010 KCIF headliner Eileen Ivers is a nominee in the Top Fiddle category, as well she should be.
Speaking of the girls of Girsa, they've made the finals in the Strangford Lough Brewing Company Battle Of The Bands. The great thing about this vote it that you might win a trip to Vegas out of it.

Scythian is also up for Top Irish Rock band so you can vote for them too :-) Scythian also has my vote to be at KCIF 2011!!
