RIP Chuck Ward

All of us at the conference and especially our dear friends at the Milwaukee Irish Fest got some very sad news while we were in Ireland. Milwaukee Irish Fest president Chuck Ward passed away on Friday after a long battle with cancer. He was 54.

I saw Chuck in Milwaukee at the festival this summer and he looked great and energetic. I'm so glad I had one last time to  say hello. All of us who had the good fortune to know Chuck will miss his friendship, his sense of humor and talent. The Kansas City Irish Fest family extends our deep sympathy to Chuck's family and everybody at the Milwaukee Irish Fest.
