VIPs

When you see Mairtin de Cogain and Jimmy Crowley and the rest of Captain Mackey's Goatskin And String Band at Irish Fest this year,  you might want to treat them with alittle deference. Perhaps a bow or a little curtsey or something would be in order. Because they're hanging out with a much better class of people these days.

Here are a few pictures from the Official Launch in Ireland of the band's new album 'Soldiers' Songs: The Irish Abroad and Soldiering' in De Barra's Folk Club, Clonikilty West Cork,  on the 20th of June. Who better to launch it but the The Minister for Foreign Affairs Micheál Martin.
