While the votes roll in on the volunteer t-shirt designs, the rest of our Irish Fest merchandise–the things we'll have for sale–are being finalized this week. And you people will be stylin'.

Of special note and new this year, a sage green fleece pullover with an embroidered KC Irish Fest logo. I know it's too warm for fleece now, but let your mind wander to those late September afternoons when you're strolling with your sweetie through a verdant glen, holding her hand tightly, as if merely her touch can preserve forever the bittersweet autumn beauty and stave off the coming winter, while the autumn leaves swirl like dancers around your feet, feet made light by love, the crisp fall air and the bright promise of the cerulean sky. Or when you're driving the Mazda to Home Depot to stock up on ice melt. It'll be great for either of those things.
