You kids out there–the actual kids, not you former ones–who enjoy our occasional visits to Uncle Bloggy's Story Shack will be very excited to hear this news. When the brand new, better-than-ever Kansas City Irish Fest website launchs in about two weeks, one of the many new features it will boast will be a kids' blog, all about and only about the happenings at the Irish Fest kids area. Think of that! You'll be able to get right to the good stuff you young punks want to know about without having wade through all the non-kid crap I put up here. There'll be contests, games, news, announcements and more–just for kids. And best of all, cranky, smelly old Uncle Bloggy won't be there. Your hostess will be sweet, kind, lovely KCIF Childrens Area boss Shawn Sullivan Warner.
This doesn't mean the end of Uncle Bloggy's Story Yurt, however. We'll still be telling the odd tale now and again here at Tir na Blog, so check back sometimes. It also doesn't mean that we'll be moving to a "adult" format here when the kids' blog starts, so don't get your hopes up, pervs.
