Human Trafficking

Have you ever seen a band play at Irish Fest and thought "I love them so much, I must buy them. Not their CDs, not their DVDs or t-shirts, I must purchase the entire band, lock stock and barrel and make them my own." If so, you scare me just a little bit. But you're also in luck, weirdo. Because this weekend you can do just that thing, sort of.

Two KC Irish Fest bands are on the auction block at KKFI 90.1 FM, Kansas City's community radio station this coming week. Your high bid buys a two hour private concert from the band at your home, business, wedding, funeral, secret lodge meeting or wherever.

This Sunday bid on the band Kelly between 11:00 and 11:30 during Foolkiller Folk. And the Sunday after that, it's the Three Dollar Band at noon. All the deets on how to bid on these two or dozens of other local bands are here on the KKFI website. And no, you can't have them come scrape paint at your house for two hours if you win. I checked. Just the music thing.

Good luck and happy bidding.
