Higher Eddiecation

I'm sitting here trying to imagine St. Patrick's Day without Eddie Delahunt. Doing so sends cold shivers down my spine. It's like imagining Christmas without Santa Claus. Corned beef without cabbage. Breakfast without whiskey. It just wouldn't be right. St. Patrick's Day...nay, St. Patrick's season Delahuntless would be a dark and frightening time indeed.

Fortunately for us, no such nightmare scenario has yet come to pass and we here in Cowtown can go hear our Eddie this very evening as we begin the final countdown to the holiday. He'll be at Mike Kelly's Westsider tonight and so will I. Why don't you join us? As for the rest of Irish holy week, his schedule is below.

• Saturday March 13, 8pm, Immaculata High School Auditorium, Leavenworth KS
• Sunday March 14, Shawnee St. Pat's Parade, after party
• Sunday March 14, 8pm, O'Dowd's Little Dublin on The Plaza
• Monday March 15, 8pm with The Elders, Blue Note, Columbia MO
• Tuesday March 16, 4:30-7:00, with John Morris, Marriott Hotel, Downtown
• WED MARCH 17-ST PATRICK'S DAY
• Mike Kelly's Westsider, 1.30- 4ish
• O'Dowd's Little Dublin On The Plaza, 4:30-9:30pm

Presumably after that, he collapses from exhaustion. Which means you better get out and see him.
