Do me a favor this coming Saturday and take some time out to visit Kennedy's Bar and Grill in Waldo, will you? The citizens of that great south Kansas City neighborhood are holding a fund and awareness raiser that they're calling "Ignite Courage Extinguish Fear." Its purpose is to raise reward money to catch the Waldo rapist we've all been hearing about.

Kennedy's Bar and Grill (75th & Washington, Kansas City MO) is the location, 2:00-5:00 PM is the time. A $10 donation will get you 2 drink tickets and appetizers. There'll be live music by the Abbey Road Beatles tribute band. Please if you can spare the time and the sawbuck, come support your friends and neighbors as they take back their neighborhood. Do some good, have some fun. Isn't that the way things are supposed to work?
