At last night's AOH/KC St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee concert with Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones, some very good things happened:
1. Elders frontman Ian Byrne was named 2010 parade Grand Marshal.
2. Irish Fest beverage tent boss Mel Rohr was named honorary flag bearer in this year's parade.
3. Long time Irish Fest volunteer Pat O'Connell and his family were honored with the Cullinan Family Spirit Award.
4. I did not dance.
That's what we call a good night. Congrats to all.
