It's a twofer today on the birthday front. And remarkably, both our birthday girls are turning 23! Go figure.
Irish Fest Beverage Queen Sarah Schields, arguably the most important part of the KCIF machine because she keeps the beer flowing, is a young, vibrant, redheaded 23 today and we wish her all the best.
And Irish Fest director and new media maven Laren Mahoney also turns a spunky, sassy 23 here on the second to the last day of the year. There's no greater innovator, and no one were fonder of here at KCIF HQ.
If you should run across either of these foxy birthday ladies today, be sure and buy them a drink and wish them the happiest of years.
