Television's Dr. Oz will be taping his show this Friday from Kansas City, and more specifically from former Mr. Irish Fest Eddie Delahunt's Cafe & at 45th and Bell Streets. If you've dreamed about television fame but can't afford a weather balloon or a six year old, this could be your big chance.

Eddie tells me it's not the whole show, just a segment that will be beamed to the studios in New York for later broadcast.
It's a cut-in about a weight-loss segment on the show involving articipants from Missouri and Kansas. With Cafe & pretty much on the state line, the location is being used to represent both states.
So if you're hoping to actually meet Oprah's favorite doctor, you may have to settle for a segment producer instead.
