So yeah, that was our own Sorcha Rua, Irish Fest Site Host boss Sarah Walsh there hobnobbing with her new BFFs Adam and The Edge (they're so tight, Sarah just calls him "The" now) before the big U2 show in Chicago over the weekend. Sarah and I were in close communication during her trip and she had my authorization to offer the band as much as $12,000 for one one show at the 2010 Kansas City Irish Fest. That's right. Twelve large. Three grand a piece. That is some serious scratch. AND free rooms at the Hyatt. It's as good as done, babies.
