At the tippy top of your to-do list this week: get your Kansas City Irish Fest Grant application in. The deadline arrives as September departs, on Wednesday. KCIF grants can help you or your 501c3 non-profit fund your exploration into Irish arts and culture. There are restrictions of course. I mean, we are talking about free money here. For example, every year we get a whole bunch of people who apply for grants so they can go to Ireland. That's it, just go to Ireland, look around, buy a t-shirt, whatever. So let's be clear about this: we're not paying for your vacation. But there are lots of great ideas we will help fund. But you gotta ask by Wednesday or wait another year.
