Since today is set up day, blog posts will be scarce after this morning...wipe those tears away, little cowboy. But there are a few things we need to talk about, you and I, as we officially head into Irish Fest weekend.
1. On Friday, on your way to the fest don't forget to stop off at the Hilliard Gallery for the opening of Fionán O'Connell's exhibit of Dublin photographs. As a bonus for you, Fionan's cousin, Irish Fest performer Robbie O'Connnell will provide some music for the opening. He'll also be discussing his work Saturday and Sunday both at 1:00 PM on the Heritage Stage.
2. Pick up a copy of the Kansas City Star this morning. We're all over that thing, brother.
3. Not too late to volunteer.
4. Review the rules. Could save us both some problems.
5. Comedy! Ardal O'Hanlon! Two Shows Saturday night! Tickets at Irish Fest or the comedy stage door! Go!
6. The weather is going to be gorgeous. And you will be too.
