Number 4

It's Irish Fest week! Four days to go and so time for number 4 in our Things Not To Miss At Irish Fest This Year. Today: Ardal O'Hanlon, Comedian.

Comedy has been absent from Irish Fest for a few years and we're thrilled to have it back. Even more so because of the comedian who's taking the stage this year. I'll tell you a secret. When we first started comedy at Irish Fest, we were thinking Ardal O'Hanlon. It took a lot of work, bribes, graft, political assassinations and forged documents to get him here. and Ardal O'Hanlon is seriously funny. If you're not familiar with his work, he's where you start. Call in sick today. Get on to Channel 4 and watch all the "Father Ted" episodes. Ardal played Father Dougal McGuire, the young dimwitted priest on Craggy Island. Learn all the words to "My Lovely Horse". Now over to YouTube and watch some stand up. And now you're hooked and as excited as I am.

A couple things to remember: our Irish Comedy Stage is inside Crown Center. Leave Irish Fest through the main gate. If you're going to the early show, don't forget to get your hand stamped. Enter the Crown Center shops and go up the escalators in front of you, all the way up to the top. There right ahead and slightly off the right is the Off Center Theatre and that's where the shows are. Tickets will be available at the fest Friday and Saturday. Shows are at 8:00 and 10:30. And this will be very funny.
