Lucy

There's a new girl in my life.

Don't get me wrong, I love Mrs. Bloggy dearly, but when I met Lucy this morning and gazed into her big brown eyes I confess I was smitten. Lucy's a model and an actress. She has jet black hair, long lashes and shapely legs...all four of them.

Lucy is a cow. And this morning she was a trooper as we ran her through a gamut of strange -for a cow anyway -situations in the name of an KC Irish Fest video shoot. She uttered not a complaint. I don't want to give away too much because you'll be seeing Lucy in all her bovine glory very soon. I will tell you that she's the first female to make The Elders roster, as you can see below.

Lucy, in her day job, is employed by the very good people at the Shatto Milk Company, sponsors of this year's Kansas City Irish Fest Children's Area. Heartfelt thanks to the Shatto folks for loaning us Lucy for the morning. Pick up their incredibly good dairy products all over our area.
