I was so proud of you kids last year. We'd made this massive change to the way we do things at Irish Fest you'll remember. We'd stopped accepting cash at our beverage tents and gone to a tokens only system and we were ready for the worst. Rioting, weeping and gnashing of teeth would surely ensue. Gun play was not ruled out as a possibility, we thought, as thirsty, tokenless and confused Irish Fest patrons were turned away, wallets open after waiting in line for a Boulevard beer. We underestimated you. The transition went more smoothly than we ever could have hoped. So now, with Irish Fest just 51 days away it's time to dig around in your sock drawer and find those tokens you went home with when you left Irish Fest last year. 'Cause guess what? They're still good here in 2009, still worth every penny you paid for them. If you don't have any left we'll sell you some new ones. Because yes, once again, no cash money will be accepted at our beverage tents.
If you're new to Irish Fest, don't worry. It's an easy system. Look for the token tents under the big yellow flags. Buy your weekend's worth and never have to go back. Use those tokens for your beer, water and soda purchases, use cash for food and everywhere else. Easy.
Thanks again for rolling with us as we improve your fest experience.

Oh yeah, a 14 year old... Why these days anyone over 14 isn't in the video biz are they?
Reminded me of the old Groucho line, "Simple? Why it's so simple a 3 year old could figure it out. Quick go out and find me a 3 year old, I can't make heads or tails out of it."
By the way, what is a "blog author" and why should they approve or disapprove what I write? It's a free country isn't it? Good thing I've got my comment switch pulled over to Moderate.
