Hidden Talents

The Irish Fest staff are a talented bunch, and I'm not just talking about talented at putting on this great festival. For example Executive Director Keli Wenzel is an accomplished athlete. Site and Logistics staffer Stevan Ryan is a renowned hot air balloonist. No kidding. Artist Hospitality chair Shannon Knopke is an actress and model. Snug Sister Carol Braun is an expert knitter. And I...well, I can...I can whistle pretty loud. So I got that going for me.

We also count in our number not one but two outstanding photographers. Kansas City Irish Fest entertainment boss Dave Shaughnessy, in his other life, is a professional photographer and a very good one. And now, a blogger too. Check him out.
