All Aboard

Again this year our friends at the Ward Irish Music Archive in Milwaukee will be heading down I-35 with a fantastic exhibit to share with us here at the Kansas City Irish Fest. As a professional art guy, I'm really excited about this one. "Come Back To Erin" presents the 20th century travel posters of Ireland and they are spectacular. Many dating from the 1920's, '30's and earlier they echo back to the days of steamships and locomotives with beautifully painted scenes and design. Be sure to stop by the Crown Center atrium and see this great exhibit, open all Irish weekend and free of charge.

And if you just can't wait 37 days you can buy reproductions of some of the posters with a Ward Irish Music Archive discount at TravelPostersOnline.com. Just type in irish-festival in the discount code box and save £1 on your order.
