All Aboard, Part 2

Speaking of the travel as I was earlier this morning, I want to welcome a new partner to the Kansas City Irish Fest family. Amtrak.

Let's say you're one of the unfortunate millions who don't happen to live here in Kansas City. In spite of that glaring error in judgment, you're generally a smart cookie so you're planning on coming to K.C. for Irish Fest. You know that our hotels are a mere stroll to the Irish Fest gates. You know that Raglan Road is running free shuttle buses to the after parties. You also know that Kansas City's Union Station is across the street from Irish Fest. Now let's fill in the last piece of the puzzle. You book your trip to Kansas City on the train. You save the wear and tear on the Hummer, the gas, the traffic, the hassle. You're dropped off refreshed and ready to get your Irish on right at our door. Plus you save money so you can afford that new "Spank Me I'm Irish" t-shirt you've had your eye on. The round trip Irish Fest weekend from St. Louis for example can be had for a lousy $52. You'd blow that on Doritos and CornNuts in the car if you drove here. And let's be honest: Monday morning, do you really think you'll feel like driving home? If I was you, I'd be on this like green on a shamrock.
