Tourney Time

The Kansas City Gaelic Athletic Club has something big in the works and you can be part of it even if your athletic skills end at the old 12 oz. curls. The 2009 Coors Light Midwest Gaelic Classic will be hosted by the home town club on Saturday, June 27th from Noon to 6:30pm in Swope Park - the Wizards Training Facility at 63rd & Lewis, specifically. Teams from Minneapolis and Little Rock will play throughout the day. There will be vendors, concessions and stuff for kids to do too in addition to all the football. Why wouldn't you want to be there?

For more information on this event and all the other great stuff going on at the KCGAC, check out their website right here. And when you see those guys, ask them how I saved their tent from blowing away at the Browne's Irish Street Fair. I'm kind of a hero, saved the day, no big deal. Just sayin'.
