Do we still call them band announcements after the schedules and performers have been posted? Sure we do, we not? So today even though you already know he's coming I'm announcing Robbie O'Connell.
Legendary may not be too strong a word here. At the very least let's say that Robbie O'Connell has kept some fine company throughout his career. A stint with the Clancy Brothers in the '70s. A part of the great Green Fields of America with Kansas City Irish Fest alumni Seamus Egan and Eileen Ivers. A song writer of a stature few can match on either side of the Atlantic. And now in what I'm sure he consider the culmination of his storied career, the K.C. Irish Fest.
