I'm sure I don't have to tell you that today is National Cartoonists Day. I can't wait to see what you got me! Nothing too expensive I hope! I wish the mail came earlier. I'm so excited to see all the cards and letters and good wishes that will come rolling in!
Anyway, I'm going to go wait by the mailbox and finish decorating the house. I need to find my CD of Cartoonists Day carols, too. In the meantime if you're wondering about Irish Fest, I'm making a band announcement this afternoon after the big surprise Cartoonists Day lunch I bet you're all planning for me. Yeah, I suspected, you sneaks! Don't worry though...I'll pretend like I didn't know.

Yeah Right.
It is Cinco e Mayo. Get on the bus and ride out to Waldo to Cantina Del Ray. The wife and I had the greatest dinner there last night. Wow the Diabla Sauce on the Shrimp rocked my world.
So if it is Cartoonist's Day, how about a Festical to Celebrate.

Use your head, Ed. What kind of sense would it make for me to draw a cartoon on National Cartoonists Day- which I am not making up, by the way? It's my day! Why the hell should I be expected to work? YOU should be drawing the cartoons today, not me.

I would send you a card for National Cartoonist Day - but I don't think Hallmark makes one and I only by Hallmark/Shoebox cards - of course!!!
