This coming weekend the Governor Stumpy's Celtic Block Party kicks off earlier than in past years, so make sure you don't miss. it. You'd feel pretty silly showing up all by yourself in the parking lot all decked out in green 3 weeks from now. This is a great not-so-little-any-more event and will remind you more than a little of the old Brookside Irish Fest days.
Jim "Mr. Stinky Feet" Cosgrove, Connacht Town, Flannigan's Right Hook, and The Elders provide the entertainment, beginning at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 3rd. Lots of stuff for kids to do too. Tickets are available in advance for $10 at Governor Stumpy's, Needham Floral, and Locks and Pulls. Tickets will also be available the day of the event for $15. So...you'll be wanting to get them in advance. Kids under 12 are free. VIP tickets are available at the restaurant. Call 816-444-2252 or stop by and ask for Brad.
