Dan- I know Switchback isn't a KCIF alum....but they are a 9 time alum from Michigan Irish Fest...and well worth the 'vote'. Congrats to all the KCIF alums that are in the running!

I started out seeing Switchback in pubs and honkytonks. They vibe small venues as well as open-air festivals and you never feeling like you're missing any of the quality or sound. Now they're moving on to bigger fests and concert halls and it's just a marvel to see the same two guys just getting better and better!

We have toured Ireland twice with SWITCHBACK and both trips were incredible! We had the pleasure of seeing Marty perform Danny Boy at Matt Molloy's Bar for Matt Molloy (Cheiftans) himself and it was quite an experience. Matt loved the performance and I know the band has been back several times since. That night they played everything from heart stomping traditional Irish tunes to their won original Americana songs. The place was rockin' and I can't wait to go back again!! They got my vote!

Switchback has found a place in our hearts over the years. They have the Irish soul and you can hear it loud and clear, as well as the divil in the fun of their performances. Vote for the boys!

What IS the Irish Music Association? It's not based in Ireland, it's based in Blue Springs, MO. Buh...??? Is this something new and wonderful? Or is it something small that needs to just be appreciated?
