Ronan Said....Nothing

So I'll say it for him.

Ronan Collins, who had his final early morning wake up call as an Irish Fest board member today, may been leaving us a director and treasurer, but the real vacancy he leaves on the board isn't one of numbers and accountancy. Ronan, a transplanted Dubliner, has been the Irish rudder on the KCIF ship since the day he joined us. Ronan, more than anyone, has kept us real, for lack of a better word. His insight into our sound, our look, our personality is evident in every aspect of the festival.

Rather than retiring exactly, Ronan is merely shifting gears. Though his board term is up, if anything you'll be seeing more of Ro on festival weekend as he leaves the financial office behind and expands our entertainment reach into areas like drama and comedy. Our loss on the board of directors is your gain as Ronan continues to keep us innovative, authentic and Irish on Labor Day weekend.

Go raibh míle maith agat, Rónán. Cruinniu ar Athlo! Sláinte!
