For Kids

You can view the work of the talented kids who won our various and sundry contests on our Children's Page. And because it takes time to be this creative we're kicking off one of our 2009 kids' contests right now. Ready?

Irish Story Questions:

1. Fionn mac Cumhail met his wife while hunting, she had been turned into this animal by a Druid magician, what animal was she?

2. Fionn also once scooped up part of Ireland to fling it at a rival, but it missed and landed in the Irish Sea — the clump became what island?

3. Fionn mac Cumhail had two massive hounds, Bran and Sceolang, legend has that they were the first of this type of dog?
