One of my favorite performers ever to take the Irish Fest stage is singer songwriter John Spillane who played for us in 2006 and 2007. John has a new CD out called My Dark Rosaleen & The Island Of Dreams that I've been listening to quite a bit, including right this very minute. It's just lovely. I don't believe it's available in the states yet, but in this magical internet age, you can be listening to it your own good self, in just minutes. I bought it as a birthday gift to myself through 7 Digital. I highly recommend you do the same, whether it's your birthday or not.
