Irish Fest staffers are a multi-talented bunch. For instance, in addition to serving as festival president, Ed Scanlon is a great cook. Executive Director Keli Wenzel is a top-tier athlete. Site and Logistics Coordinator Stevan Ryan flies hot air balloons. And in addition to whatever the hell I do, I can also...um...well I used to sort of know how to play "Shenandoah" on a harmonica.  

But all that is topped by Kansas City Irish Fest Artist Hospitality chairwoman Shannon Knopke, who in her spare time is a model, an actress and now a movie star. Her newest film project, All Roads Lead Home unfortunately sees her getting the worst of an encounter with Bambi on a rainy road early on, but still. When was the last time you got killed in a movie, hotshot? 

You've seen the beautiful and talented Shannon in countless commercials, print ads, even greeting cards and not known it. But she's on the verge of big things and we're very proud of her. 

Now she'd only learn to keep her eyes on the road...
