Pooka Party Plans Proceeding

My love for all things Halloweeny is well known, so I'm excited beyond all reasonable measure that Deadie Delahaunt's annual Halloween Pooka Party is back again for 2008. The shivery shindig, a fund raiser for The Good Samaritan Project, will be held October 25th at Harling's Haunted Upstairs Bar, right where Westport Road dead-ends at Main Street. 

There'll be costume contests, live (?) music by Deadie and his band, dance discs spun by DJ Irishman and all sorts of other silliness. There'll be more details here as we approach the macabre month. But for now, start working on that costume concept. Me, I'm kind of torn between a ballerina and brain eating zombie. Maybe some combination of the two. We'll see.
