You're Not Santy. You're Eddie From Dublin.

I went to the Westsider to hear Eddie Delahunt tonight. Lots of Irish Festers in attendance. I'm trying to recall what year it might have been when I first went to hear Eddie sing. It's been a long time, I'll tell you that. I know he's been showing a video recently at his café that was shot at Harling's Bar in 1991 that I show up in. So that's what...17 years? Anyway, here's the thing: Eddie's shows just keep getting better. Eddie keeps getting better. His current band, himself, Rasheed, Adam, Brett and Gabe may be his best ever.

So listen. You've got just one chance at Irish Fest this year to hear our local Irish treasure. Sunday afternoon, right after Mass on the State Street Stage. If you're a local, come show Eddie some love. He's earned it. If you're coming here for Irish Fest from elsewhere, do yourself a big favor and come see him. You'll instantly become as big a fan as I am...since at least 1991.

And the title of this post? Ask him. Great story.

Fair play, Eddie.

I think Inishowen was his best band ever, NOT his current line-up. Fair play fellas. Just an opinion.

I think your lineup for KC IrishFest last year may have been your best lineup ever, NOT your current line-up. Fair play fella. Just an opinion.

Wait and see, hear & etc. I went to the Buffalo Celtic Music Fest a few years ago to see the Saw Doctors and Hothouse Flowers stole the show.Didn't even know that they were going to be playing.
